SMC Food 21, our Singapore headquarters, has upheld a clear philosophy since its founding. Managing Director Cheng Liang Chye established a simple principle: sourcing raw materials from around the world and consistently delivering high-quality products to every customer.

In food processing, higher standards at the beginning lead to better final products. This requires the right equipment, flexibility, expertise, and a solid understanding of market standards and regulations.

Based on this philosophy, we established our own manufacturing bases in regions known for superior raw materials. This enables us to maintain high quality while offering competitive prices.

We source raw materials from around the world and select the best ones. After selection, we rigorously test them to ensure they meet our internal standards and customer specifications before blending them.

All raw materials undergo rigorous quality testing before blending and are also tested during the production process to ensure the high quality of the blends is not compromised and to ensure optimal traceability.

Quality control system

We follow strict manufacturing and processing standards to maintain high quality control.
Each of our plants has an on-site laboratory, where food quality tests are conducted in-house.

All production staff comply with strict rules on hygiene, pest control, and food safety, recognizing this as a key responsibility in protecting product quality.
Before shipment, products undergo chemical, microbiological, and sensory testing to ensure they meet our standards.
